There's one on my yard. Agree with FFM - special (i.e. can buck for England) but very very talented. Changed from eventing to pure dressage and has been very successful - but has also been known to buck continuously through a test on occasion. Stunning horse to look at, perfect conformation.
I had mare by him, she wasnt the best in the stable but one of the nicest horses to ride, i always said if i ever fell off her i was giving up!, anyway i had her for 2 years and never fell off!
She was owned by my aunt, she backed her etc she was always lovely. She was reserve champion hunter mare at dublin show, was on the irish side saddle team, evented and competed in dressage successfully. I had her on loan over here for 2 years and competed successfully in BD and generally enjoyed her. Didn't really jump as she had poor feet and previous laminitis which had caused pedal bone rotation.
All in all she was fab and if i could have a young sound version i wouldn't hesistate
I had a mare by Devon Missile who was by Cruise Misile - totally beautiful and would have been an exquisite competition horse on a good day - her temperament was EXTREME and she could be dangerous. If you can get a good natured one you are laughing - like Tom Cruise II - he's a CM child x
