I've been trying to track down info on this stallion but am drawing a complete blank! His first crop of foals - 2008 - have come of age and look very promising but can't find any info on where he's standing, stud fees etc. I presume he's still here in Ireland but perhaps he's been sold abroad. He's by Harlequin du Carel out of a cruising mare called Gleeson's Cruise, so great bloodlines. Would love to hear from people who have used him, I doubt he's fully approved yet but would like to know what he passes on; movement, jump and temperament wise. Am looking for a talented eventing sire but with a quiet, calm temperament to balance out an excitable TB mare.

Really interesting pedigree for eventing breeding, and he also has some interesting French TBs back on his damline. Let us know if you manage to track him down - Eothain might know, and it might be worth askin on the Irish Horse Breeders FB page. Good luck!

Thanks Nanette...was hoping a Cruising expert like Eothain might know alright. There is absolutely nothing on him internet wise which is slightly strange. Would love to know more as have seen some promising 4 year olds by him. Will ask on facebook.

Hi, I've just looked at the foals registerested in 2012 from hsi and Cruising Harry sired 5 foals in 2012. Owner John O'Sullivan, Coumroe, Carrigtoher, Nenagh, Co Tipperary phone: 067 23194 mob: 087 1262363. Where did you see the stallions progeny? He's well bred hope he's still in Ireland. There are no mention of his height or bone measurements in the book.

Thanks for that hunting angel, great info and he's not a million miles away either. I've seen a couple by him at shows and featured in the future event horse league, so not a bad start to his stallion career. Are you interested in using him too?

It depends if he is suitable for my mare, but if you go to see him take some photos of him and his foals. Have you heard of Rock Sensation x Cruising he is a grade A showjumper?

Hadn't heard of him no but that's nice breeding with King of Diamonds in there and a good performance record. Will get to see the other horse at some stage, am surprised they have nothing to promote him on the web. Maybe it's a real small operation.
