Cryin buckets my new Lorry clocked - The Result!

A few months ago I posted a thread regarding a new 3.5ton lorry I had bought and later found out it had been clocked. It had knowingly been sold to me clocked by the dealer becouse it had been returned to him by another lady for the same reason. Anyway the top and bottom of it is I eventually got my day in court with him and won. He had to pay me compensation and all court costs. The message here is check the MOT cert on the VOSA website before you buy and don't always think you are any safer going to a dealer with a flashy garage and website- I have learnt my lesson!!

Yay, well done, but how horrible for you to have to go to court.

Still, is a lesson to us all, will def be VOSA website before buying a lorry!

Just seen this thread.

Very good news OP. A real pity that you had to go through it, but a good outcome . I hope the dealer pays up.
