CT scan - how much?

A super quickie! I've searched back but can find lots of people saying their horses have gone for CT scans yet no numbers, unfortunately.

We have an ongoing sinus issue and the specialist has recommended a CT scan of the head/sinuses (you get the gist!). What sort of price range have people paid for this in the past, please, if you have had a horse go in for this diagnostic procedure?

Thank you in advance! :)

Big horse had this done recently for raging sinus infection, was £580.
Hi there - could I possibly message you about this, please? This has been ongoing with my girlie (had the bone flap surgery to drain sinus and catheter - no dice, fluid came back in sinuses) and it's been incredibly stressful not knowing how it may proceed!

I had one who’s head was CT scanned at RVC & it was at least £700,this would’ve been about 7 or 8 years ago now.

One of mine recently had a head CT - £700

Frustratingly it told us absolutely nothing -deemed the most boring CT scan ever by the vet :(

Hey all - just an update! I had her scanned at Bristol Langford for £650, including all fees, consultation etc. Staff were very professional and impressive, kept me updated and helped me load her up again. Newmarket were £1000 plus, London was going to be my first choice though but they didn't have dates until the tail end of the month.

Thanks for the advice and numbers prior!
