Cub saddles

Don't know much about them, Never used them on ponies as they all would have leather saddles, Are they suitable for ponies around 12 hh/12.1 or only for shetlands /tinies?

My 3 year old grandaughter uses her Cub saddle on whatever she rides from her mini shetland up to a 13.1 New Forest. No problem at all.

I have one with velcro panels underneath to adjust the width of the gullet, its a thorowgood i think? Have used it for ponies of varying sizes, mainly because our little uns aged 2 and 3 would be lost in a bigger saddle.

I like the photo of the cub saddle on the the piebald. These saddle are very versatile and give little ones so much confidence.
Pink. It would depend on what the pony is being used for. Maybe not for showing or pony club. I am glad my grandaughter did not see one in pink. When asked what colour pony she wanted "pink" was the instant reply. Then my daughter was talking to somebody and discovered she had a Strawberry Roan for sale, almost pink. Grandaughter is thrilled to bits with him.

Daughter is only two so won't be going to pony club/shows , here is the pink saddle lol

Im quite old fashioned really, so prefer traditional tack, but as it is for a little one... I prob won't be
