After some apathy in this department, Horsewatch is being re-introduced in Cumbria. It was started up some years ago but never really got going properly.
It is only in its' infancy and at the moment the word is being spread to see how many people are interested in joining the scheme.
Fortunately both horse and tack theft is a rare occurrence in Cumbria but any interested parties, please contact PC Bowman at Brampton Police station letting her know your location in Cumbria (so she can see who will be the co-ordinator in your area).
