Cumwhinton moved

What :eek:, is that not Skipton weekend :confused:! I hadn't heard at all so thank you for posting but if those too clash despite being in Cumbria I won't know which to go to!
 
DB - I'm probably massively behind here, but has the 2011 calendar or a draft of it been issued (and if so where could I find one?). Or is this just news from the grapevine??

Organiser himself has posted it on facebook :)
(don't quote me on this but the offical calender isn't out until dec/jan time??)
 
This is direct from organisers of Cumwhinton.
Would be good for them to have a dry weekend - they have suffered a lot of cancellations from their usual slot.
It was Skipton weekend and also weekend after Hutton (who have same course builder) so maybe there will be more moving that we don't yet know about...
 
I can completely understand why they're moving just really hoping Skipton gets a new date as it was a fab event this year and a lot of effort went into it :)!

It [Cumwhinton] always clashes with the cumberland show which is very annoying especially as I am normally grooming/riding at the cumberland :mad:
 
Thats a shame....it now clashes with the Royal Highland Show... Which in turn always clashed with the now de-funct Coillemore, which used to struggle with entries due to the RHS clash :(

The Highland is a big four days for Scottish horse folk...

Oh that is a shame. But I suppose it is impossible for it not to clash with something.
Will be interesting when the full calendar comes out and we can see all event dates :D

Fear not! I am the Organiser at Skipton. Ourselves, Hutton and Cumwhinton have all had a little swap around to make things easier on the ground.

Cumwhinton moves to the Skipton (1) date
Skipton (1) moves to Hutton (1) date
Hutton (1) moves to the Cumwhinton date
