Cupro Nickel Bits / German Silver bits

Hi,

Can anyone advise me on the above two bit materials. Is one better than the other? Or does it depend on the bit manufacturer and/or horse preference.

Or perhaps is stainless steel a better option?

They both had copper in them. Some horses can be sensitive to Nickel.

Some horses prefer one and some the other.

Both produce a sweet feeling when the bit is in the mouth and encourage 'acceptance and softness'.

What are you hoping to achieve?
