Righto..Well as off the start of the weekend I tried my ponio in a kimblewick. Result! At last, a bit she likes and a bit I have control in. Seriously, she loves it, drools all over the place.

So yeah, thats great. Only after I rode her today, I noticed it's rubbed her. It's her usual bit size, and the bit which has rubbed her is like..Its not the curb, nor the bit but like the piece of metal which attaches the curb to the bit.

Here, I've circled them. It's too high for rubber cheek pieces to help, plus I can't se them and a kimblewick working somehow..Would a curb guard help? I'm not sure as its not he actual chain, does it go high enough?

Otherwise any other ideas?

We have that exact bit on all our team ponies, where the cheek peices attach, and the very top holes, we have move the chain so it comes off there.

Ill try and find a picture.

Sorry not decent pictures but

The curb is on the green bit, and the black is to emphasise the redundant random hole.

Sorry I can't explain to save my life

Move the hooks with the curb to the slot that the cheek pieces go on.

That worked with ours.
