Just interested to hear what type of rein you all use on your curb rein. Plain/rubber/part rubber/5/8"/ 1/2" etc etc. I've tried allsorts and have had to resort to having a curb rein made bespoke.
Nothing fancy - 1/2" with rubber on one side. I simply couldn't find them like this and stitched in the middle rather than a buckle so ended up having to get them made.I used plain 1/2”. Interested in what your bespoke reins are like though?
But trying to find these in half inch, in full size, is impossible (half inch is usually pony length for kiddies smaller hands). Hence i had to get myself some made. You buy dressage/show reins with rubber on the inside and then just if you want take the buckle out.https://elevatorequestrian.co.uk/product/the-elevator-performance-leather-half-rubber-lined-1-2-rein/
