Cure for Mud Fever...

I posted on a thread earlier about a very good cream I used on Andy's mud fever- it cleared up in 3 days and hasn't returned.

Its called Tetra-delta Intramammary Suspension given to us by our vet it is used on bovine mastitis. I would hugley recommend it to those people struggling with mud fever.

What does it contain? Does it have steroids in? I've found that they clear up inflammation quickly but it tends to come back worse than ever.

Nope here are the ingredients:
100 mg
Neomycin (antibiotic)

105 mg
Procaine penicillin (pain relief)

100 mg
Dihydrostreptomycin (antibiotic)

100 mg
Prednisone (helps with inflammation) in this form it is not a steroid

10 mg
In an oily base.

We used this about 8 weeks ago and it hasn't come back, the foot looks completly healed.
