How much weight do you reckon my horse could comfortably carry? I have my own ideas, but would be interested to hear others views.

15.3hh ID cross (not sure what shes crossed with, but she is pretty heavy set). 11 years old - i havent measured her bone, but there is certainly a lot there.

Please excuse the *ahem* interesting harstyle, this was before she was clipped!

Weight carrying is dependent on the amount of bone the horse has.

Thanks for all your opinions, i will measure her bone later. She happily copes with me, but i am way under the estimations, but it is good to know for the future (loan homes etc).
