Yay to the farmer!
I recieved a text from my dad informing me that the field fence had been ripped out (they broke the wire a few weeks ago cutting the OSR). Queue me getting palitations and squitting it. So I text back "WHERE?"
Expecting to hear bad bad news that is going to cost lots etc.........................
To be told that the farmer has ripped out the posts and put in nre higher ones, along with another line of wire as he is planting winter barley and its dangerous for horses
. Now though I am worried he may ask for payment as the fence is on my parents land, and really he didnt have to replace it (My horse has bent it!!). We purposely had it put 1m in from the boundry so that it wouldnt get caught by the machines and to avoid disputes.
I am buying (I was in the process of ordering it when got text and cancelled it) Electric rope fence to go along the top of the posts anyway. Poor horsey wont know whats hit him!! Well..........12v of zap if he is a beggar!
