Cushie was stolen from outside a shop in Bourne End - Berkshire, on 17th November At about 11am.
Cushie, a Border Terrier, was tied outside the Co-op in The Parade when a white man with short, brown hair and wearing dark clothes and a yellow reflective jacket untied her and fled the scene.
Cushie’s owner has been suffering from cancer and is appealing for Cushie’s return as she has been a great source of comfort while her owner has undergone chemotherapy.

Cushie's owner's family have search endlessley for her and are desperate for her back. There was a possibler sighting of her being walked in Black Park in Iver in January, but nothig since.

I know that time has passed, but if you know ANYONE who got a dog unexpectedly or tried selling one please either post here or call the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505 or if you don’t want to talk to police or leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111. If you don't want to do this, just PM Me, I am in contact with Cushie's owners so can pass things on.

Below is a poster produced by Doglost.co.uk. It would be fantastic if everyone could print at least 1 out and placed it somewhere obvious.

I will cross post on another forum.

Such a sad story.

Its just not safe to leave dogs outside shops anymore, such is the world we live in.

I cant imagine how they are feeling: I have a Border T and I couldnt live without her.

I recently bought a thing called a Doglock, which enables you to effectively lock the dog to the solid object so they cannot be walked off with (there is a metal core a bit like a cycle lock within the collarlead). I try to avoid leaving dog anyway, but i have it in case of emergency, it might be worth looking out for for other peeps.

i HATE dog thieves and horse thieves and think it should be treated on a par with kidnapping a human member of the family, seriously.

Poor people, I so hope they get Cushie back. I would be too terrified to leave my dog outside a shop. I have taken her in to ones who have counters close to the door. By the time they realise she is there it's too late to chuck us out.
