My mare was diagnosed Cushings last autumn and has been on Prascend ever since - her ACTH is now normal. She has a lovely coat coming through this year, having been a bit rough-looking last summer, but she is really greasy and the grease seems to almost hold her winter coat in place until I pluck it out. Is this common for Cushings horses, and will it go away now that she is hormonally normal again? Going to bath her with the weather is nice and sunny, but curious about the future!

Mine has been along her spine when her coat changed. But not sure whether it is the Cushings or the fact that she is nearly 34 - she has been on the meds for 3 years.
