Since getting her on 0.5mg pergolide daily and doing all the recommended feeding guidelines, our 26 yo pony is almost back to her old self. A very bad and feisty little madam once more!
I'm not sure if it was the pergolide or the management, or both, but something is definitely working.
I got more help and support from this forum than I could ever have wished for - starting in the summer with advice and information on her guttural pouch infection when it seemed we really might lose her. Thanks again to everyone and fingers crossed for Pollyanna. Whatever, I am glad to have you lot there.
