No idea how much the test cost - I had my pony done a few years ago, and the cost of treatment varies from horse to horse depending on how they respond to treatment. You need to talk to your vet

The cushings test is a blood test-about £30 from what I remember. This prascend tablets work out at just over £1 per tablet, so it depends what dose your horse is on. My mums is on 2.5, so probably works out at £3 per day. But the insurance covered all blood tests/meds for the first year

one of the drugs companies was doing a free test last year - dont know if they still are - think the website was called lets talk about laminitis or something similar.

The website is http://www.talkaboutlaminitis.co.uk/ but unfortunately it doesn't look as though the free test is on offer at the moment.
I had the test done last April, and although the testing of the sample was free it still cost me the price of the blood test and the callout charge. I think I paid about £50, so if you had to pay for the testing part as well I would think it would be about £80 ish?
