Anyone use it at my feedmerchant today at £4.95 a bag so thought i'd give a go as its almost half the price of shavings but would like to know what its like before i change my bed over thanks

Works a treat, stays in place and I find easier to use than shavings. But you do need to put down a thick bed to begin with.

I dooo Brilliant stuff! I deep litter mine, wet sinks to bottom & gets absorbed, poo stays on top & as the flakes are large it doesn't get mushed around into little bits. You do need a fairly deep bed but not huge & it's cheap so not too bad. I hardly top up at all in summer as Gem's only in for a couple of hours per day & probably use a bale per week in winter. Having tried loads of different beddings i wouldn't change back to anything else now.

I have used this and i have to say it does work really well!! It stays really compact so the poo just sits ontop and the wee sinks right to the bottom, i deep littered even on mats and it was great. only changed back to straw as i lost my job and even though its cheap i needed something cheaper
