Just been browsing on Ebay and have come across lots of companies which offer personalisation services on hi-viz gear. I have needed a replacement for my dingy old tabard (Ikea's finest!) for some time and I really like the idea of having your own message on the back. But what on earth should I have printed on it?

I don't want the boring old 'Please pass wide and slow' (horse is bombproof in traffic regardless and people hovering up her backside being too scared to pass is more annoying than anything!).

'Does my bum look big on this' is good for the comedy value, and in fact I already have a polo shirt with that on the back, but it's a bit cheesy and I don't wear it any more. I do have quite a big bum so it's not even ironic.

There's some pre-printed 'Caution: Lady rider with PMT' ones which I just find a bit crass.

Suggestions on a postcard please.

These sound fab, can you link me an ebay shop that does them? (PM if it's seen as advertising

I like the 'Horse's don't dent they die' but I suppose it depends on the type of drivers you get, most of the people round our area are young guys and I think the 'Does my bum look big in this?' would hit a more friendly note with them

They all slow down anyway to make lwed comments about 'how much I like riding' that one NEVER gets old

I had some, 'Horses don't dent they die' waistcoats printed up by Clayton Hi-Viz (on ebay) last year.

They have been well received by both riders and by some of the locals in the village we ride through.

Not sure about the drivers though, they seem to be split into two groups, those that shout 'ride side by side' and those that shout 'ride in single file', my reply is always the same to both.........

I need some new hi-viz so might give them a look. My current rather tasty hi-viz kimono type ensemble (generously given to me by work) was designed to fit an x-large engineer and I am not him! Feel like a right pr*t in it
