Cut fence in Berkhamsted, Herts.

**Just for anyone in the Bourne End/Berkhamsted Hertfordshire area. **

At a local livery yard we noticed our fence had been cut clean away and then "put back", adding a large branch across the join to hide that it had been tampered with.

The removed fence was large enough to gain access to equipment, as well as being easy to steal the horses or the horses escape from the field.

It was lucky that this was noticed, as at a glance the fence looked normal. It has now been repaired and reported to the police.

There have been 3 incidents in Herts over the last week involving horses stolen or attempted thefts from fields.
In all 3 cases the fences were cut to take the horses out so keep an eye on things.
