Cut/grazed pad

Not bleeding but red and weeping?
Can you use Savalon or similar? (don't mind getting it on the carpet) Just don't want bugs getting in. Dog not lame or apparently aware of it.
Advice appreciated please.
 
Thank you she seems completely oblivious to it.
Do you know how it usually happens? I checked her pads after our long walk yesterday and they were fine and she has only been in our garden (patio, grass, soft plants, basically child friendly) (only been in garden as we are all recovering from yesterday baby slept 17 out of the last 24 hours :eek:)
 
She might have spun on the patio. I see it a lot in young sheps who are kennelled - run to one end, spin on their rear legs, run to the other, spin on their rear legs, grazes the pads.

I actually do use watered down Savlon or Dettol in an old plastic Chinese takeaway tray and dunk the paw in.
