Cuts?

My horse has an old cut on his back leg. Its been there for ages, and thought nothing of it. The cut has made itself into a lump, as I said its been there for ages. I'm wondering if there's anyneed for me to worry? it doesn't bother him if I touch it or apply pressure. It hasn't affected the way he works either. I've been told its somethimes called 'over healing'. You can probably tell I've never came across something like this.

Hi i wouldnt worry to much about it i know a pony that had the same on a back leg and never caused any problems for him. the only thing it would affect is if you wanted to show him he would be marked down for it.
