Get a good instructor to help you learn to school him/her properly. Using more inside leg should help, but it sounds like he/she could be quite unbalanced and poorly schooled also (or just taking the mick out of you).

Take the corners slowly, set the horse up for the corner with a half-halt, use plenty of inside leg and support with the outside rein. You may even have to invite the horse to take the shoulder into the corner by opening your outside rein, at first. Get this right in walk before trying to sort out the other paces. If you put an obstacle, such as a cone, just off the track, that will help you to steer and the horse to stay on the track.
An instructor would be a great help.
