cutting mats?

i am going to have to buy one more rubber mat to cut in half for along the back of the stable.
what is the best method for cutting it?they are quite thick and heavy.

When I had to cut my rubber mats to fit them to the stable I borrowed my OH's stanley knife which worked well but I did blunt about 5 blades doing 3 stables!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a heavy duty Stanley knife with my mats as I had to cut a few. It took a quite a bit of slicing but got there eventually!

That's my method - I keep a good supply of new blades too!

Yep - draw a line, start cutting with a stanley knife then bend the mat away from the blade as you cut. It's really hard work and makes men swear and sweat and then you have to buy them lots of beer to say thank you.
