I'm sat writing a CV for an event yard down south( im in scotland) and i have no idea what to put in it, so far ive got a profile of myself including qualities that i believe i have, the skills i have for a horsey enviroment and my employment history what else?

any help would deserve a massive hot choco at the moment

A big bonus for event yards is to have someone capable enough to let loose onboard fit tb types, eg hacking and gallop work. So if you have any proper experience either riding fit tb competition horses or racehorses in training then definitely highlight it.

Also your capabilities in clipping/trimming/plaiting.
Can you drive an HGV or 7.5 T vehicle?
Do you have backing and breaking experience?

I don't work with horses, but from a non horsey point of view, some good references could go on there... maybe your event history, what your skills are= plaiting up, competitive history?

Basically, you are worth X amount a year... what makes you so different to everyone else? Why do you stand out.. Sell yourself.. what are your best attributes?

Good luck! Being darrrn saarrrf rocks
