My QH mare's action has been "pottery" of late so got the vet to check her over. He x-rayed her last Thursday and thinks that there is a very small cyst (size of a pea) on the navicular bone.
He's not seen anything like it, certainly not so small, before so has sent the x-rays to his friend at the Dick Vet to look at so we should hear back tomorrow about this.
I have no experience of this and had never heard of it before. I've tried "googling" it but not finding any answers to my questions. Can anyone please shed some light re long term prognosis, treatment, has anyone had a horse with it, etc?
Any help/advice gratefully received.
Thank you
