Dillon has had a little lump the size of a pea on his side for a while now i thought nothing to worry about was just keeping a eye on it.
But it has been getting a slightly bit bigger recently so booked him into the vets he i going on Wednesday anyway yesterday he got a swelling around it and today it has burst yuk.
Anyone had this before he is fine in himself and just keeps licking it.
 
My German Shepherd occassionally gets them aswell. They are disgusting. I was told they aren't anything to worry about.

my german shepards got one on her hip (a biggy !) and a little one on her neck.
oh yuck they are vile when they pop as the one on her hip does every so often.
my vet says they are sebacous (pardon the spelling) cysts and nothing to worry about.
do you know if are they common for shepards doziesmummy ?
 
an update ......
he went to the vets yesterday and he is on antibiotics and needs hibi scrubing twice a day looks better already

No idea sorry! I would say not as I dont remember any of my mum and dad's dogs having them.

My mastiff has them though.
