Has anyone got a horse with a cystic ulcer in its eye? I don't know what they are or how they get there??
The only reason I'm asking is that the vet has said that my horse has got one in his left eye. He is 13 and I have owned him for 5 years. Iv never noticed anything abnormal in his eye and its never caused him any problems. However I've been told that he will start to refuse to jump and that it will get worse and worse.
Will it affect insurance (he isn't currently insured but say if I was to insure him) and will it really get that bad that he will never jump?
I'm currently having a mini panic attack that my poor boy will end up never jumping again and doing the things he loves.
