The performance concentrate is an oat balancer and if more ooomph is needed then it states on the bag that oats can be added without unbalancing the mix. It also says that it is especially for warmbloods and natives. Just thought I`d add that bit to make it all more confusing for you.

I used it on mine over Winter when she got a little flat from being stabled and only worked in the school and generally grumpy about life.
She can be mega sharp so I was expecting fireworks TBH but it did exactly what I wanted and gave her, her 'edge' back without turning her into a monster. She wasn't spooky on it and still perfectly rideable.
