This is for an 11mth old colt to make approx 16.2hh+ (we hope).
Breeding:
Sire: TB x TB/ID
Dam: Selle Francais x Warmblood

Next to no grass at present - but will be fed good haylage until spring grass comes through.
Also, alfa a with feeds twice a day.

I cant vote as i really rate both! If it was mine i would probably go for the m&y mix as he has warmblood in his breeding and they are prone to over growing and the suregrow may have more in it that will encourage this.
but tbh i think either will do the job you need

Ha, just shows you what I don't know as when I rang them about two TB x Irish cobs, they told me the mix would have too many calories in for them and I would have assumed that WBs would have been in a similar category.

. . . . maybe just different advisors???? Although it would be nice to think they work off of the same guidelines.

Does anyone know how much Mare & Youngstock mix is per bag roughly?

I feed both! Filly not overly keen on the pellets of SureGrow on their own so I add a mugful of the Mare & Youngstock Mix (~350g) to make it more 'interesting' for her. I feed it alongside Fibrebeet and HiFi Lite.

As I said on your other posts, my babies always have Alfa Oil, Sugar Beet and Suregrow
