D&H Safe and Sound, what is in it?

Hi all,

Just been looking at Safe and Sound on the D&H website.

Can anyone tell me, what is in it please? Is is alfalfa based, or straw based chaff? It doesn't say on the website what it in it.

My horse can't have straw based chaff.

Oatfeed, Wheat, Wheatfeed, Full Fat Soya Meal, Vegetable Oil, Full Fat Linseed, Cereal Straw, Grass Chaff, Chopped Cereal Straw, Grass, Cane Molasses, Unmolassed Sugar Beet, Limestone, Dicalcium Phosphate, Salt, Calcined Magnesite, Yea-Sacc, Fruits & Herbs.

I thought it was just a chaff, but its a complete feed by the look of it.

its very odd as i was always under the impression this was alfalfa free, however in the feed shop today i looked at the ingredients sticker and it was different to above, it def listed alf alfa :confused:
 
I bought some of this for Mollie. She doesn't really need hard feed and just has a scoop a day to put her supplements in. However, it seems she hates D&H Safe and Sound. I mix sliced carrot in to make it taste better, but she just picks the carrot out. :(
