Hi, were moving from Leigh to Wigan this year, prolly before summer, so im looking at where my 14.1 cob gelding can be moved to, im after d.i.y with 24/7 summer turnout, and bit of winter turnout maybe ?, and paddock/menage to ride in, i dont want anything too posh, as im just a middle aged happy hacker, dont show or anything, want a nice quiet yard, good hacking a must, roads fine.
I dont know of any in Wigan, so that's why im asking around now, so ive got some ideas of where to go, as i like being prepared, thanks for any replys in advance,. jackie

Have you got a facebook account ?? you'll probably get a lot of response off there, but try Lands Farm @ Westhoughton where they have the riding club shows. Cant find a website, its not exactly Wigan but its okay there.

hi, i live in standish lower ground and i do know of only one livery yard where i used to keep my yearling. although i'm sure you have a yard already this is an old thread :)

if you don't mind me asking, where are you at the moment?

Hi, well move didnt go threw :-( . However we are hoping to move later in the year :-), could you p.m me the yard you know about please, as i can keep details for when we do move, many thanks jackie

Your yard falls inside the area where I'm going to be looking over the next couple of months when I move, but it sounds like viewings are only possible if a place comes up and after an application form is filled in ? Is that right, or can I come along to view as and when so long as I phone to check that it would be convenient beforehand? The idea of maybe only viewing at a time/day determined by yourselves doesn't send a good message to me. I also don't want to go to the hassle of filling in an application form (even before I've viewed) without having any idea of what your pricing structure is. :(

Hope you see this before somebody presses the button for advertising (not me BTW).
