I am thinking of starting my 17 year old TB on this. To help maintain his condition and give him a bit more ooommmph!

Any experiences?

Thanks

Had my now 18 year old on this for the past two winters. He really likes it but last winter I struggled to keep the weight on him, he went a bit ribby and i was pumping feed into him.

For that reason i'm thinking of feeding him on straights this year (plus cheaper, 16+ has gone up to over £10 a bag from £8 last winter) as he's very easy going and although I think it is an excellent quality feed I didn't think that the joint supps etc did much for him.

I might try Allen and Page old faithfull first though as i'm a big fan of their feeds.
