Is there much difference between Baileys No.4 Topline conditioning cubes and Spillers conditioning cubes?

Been on both sites and compared the feeds. The Spillers conditioning cubes have a slightly higher protein and fibre %, but baileys has a higher digestable energy %, they both have the same oil %. Any help/ views are appreciated.

Thanks.

There must be some difference because my horse looks sadly and accusingly at me if I give him No 4 and then kicks the bucket across the stable but eats the Spillers!

sorry I can't be more help!

I've found that my horse prefers the Spillers over the Baileys. I think they add stuff like mint to make it more yummy. I even notice it when i open the bag, i find that the Baileys smells horrible but the Spillers smells sweet. I have to add Spillers Happy Hoof to his Baileys feed so he'll eat it.
When i've finished this bag of Baileys i'm on i won't be buying anymore.
Sorry i can't be technical about the contents but your horse its telling you what he likes.
Spillers have a really good and free help line who can advise.

My horse loves Spillers and will not touch Bailey's

She just pushes the bucket over with her nose and leaves her feed.

Get in touch with Baileys helpline and ask about the starch content - spillers conditioning cubes and mix are 20% but i have a feeling baileys is more....starch is the thing that will heat your horse up, so if you're not after that - stick to the lower starch. i have found most feed companies are a bit shady about their starch level - apart from Spillers which clearly states it on their bags
