What does RA stand for?

I know it refers to horse whispering type people but just can't quite work out the RA!

Registered Associate.

I'm not sure but I think you have to do approved training courses to become a RA.

Recommended Associate - it means that the holder has completed and passed a series of Intelligent Horsemanship courses, has successfully completed a horse psychology project and gained the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate of Horsemanship and has then completed further training within a specified timescale.
I've met several of them and have been very impressed seeing them work with a variety of horses.
