Can those making the accusations please supply a detailed description of how to spot without any error "hunting folk". I find it extremely hard to do that when everyone is in mufti.

We now have less than 5 dairy farms within 40 mile radius. 15 years ago there were 20 or more. Spotting a dairy farmer is now harder than finding a trustworthy director of a bank.

I wish them every success.

This is an issue that I feel really strongly about. I really do hope our British dairy farmers will get a FAIR DEAL for the milk that they work so hard to produce. I would love to join in the dairy protests, if only I could get to them. Dairy farmers, keep on fighting!

I am with Dairy Farmers and I understand the problem 100%. Also and clearly, the protests are having some limited effect.

However if I may bring my experience to the table. Dairy Farmers, like all farmers when they have a grievance protest with a high profile, accompanied by blockading whatever is their target bet noire at the time.

Unfortunately they do not have the numbers that their French counterparts can muster, largely due to history and Madam Guillotine. Therefore whilst they may achieve some interim success, it cannot be sustained long term

What is now happening is that Dairy Farmers are creating sentiment that is with them, but overall, against investment in the industry. In other words they are making 'the money men/women' windy.

It doesn't take much to make the "money|" windy these days. Just as it doesn't take much to make them keen. Anything that smells of "Profit" has them in pursuit like a dog on a bitch in season.
