*Daisy's even!

After two and a bit weeks with Daisy she has just been returned to the MiL and booked in with us for her next 'holiday', thus to prevent me feeling sad I'm going to spam you all with some pictures of her (and a sneaky couple of my brother's dog) from the last week :D (it was the OHs 30th so I organised for our family and friends to gather in the Lakes under one roof for a week - it seemed a good idea at the time ;) )

Aira Force Waterfalls

Considering she wouldn't swim when we first looked after her she's turned into a proper water baby!

Gorgeous photos, and I love the Lakes, and Aira Force. SDhe is such a beautiful dog. I know you miss her but at least you have her part time.

The last photo - please, no, no never. It encourages small children to climb on dogs, for which they are too heavy and it hurts and then they get bitten and that is curtains. Sorry but I really hate to see that sort of abuse. :-(. I know you are there and she is lying down but now when small sees her she will want to go and climb, not a good lesson. Really sorry for being a wet weekend.

No worries :) She's not actually sat on Daisy but I take your point about if she was with her unattended when she can crawl she might put weight on her :)

Whereabouts in the Lakes? I’m going up for the bi-annual family Bank holiday weekend near Ullswater.

We hired a massive house in Tebay for the week and then drove various places e.g. Grasmere, Combustion, Kendal, Ullswater, Grizdale etc. My OH is from Kendal so we were visiting places he went as a teenager as well as walking/ghyll scrambling :)

Beautiful photos. She is a gorgeous dog. The Lakes are very special to me as I was born and grew up there (I was born in Kendal). I occasionally get a yearning to move back and a National Trust farm tenancy near Coniston recently came up and we did consider whether to apply or not.

I do like the Lakes but these days South Wales is my preference, a bit less full of tourists! ;)

Totally get that. Where I live in Scotland couldn't be any quieter/more peaceful and I love it. (also the biggest reason why we decided not to apply for the Lakes tenancy).
