Naughty pony managed to get out of its stable last night and got in the feed shed. She has eaten quite a lot of stud cubes, hard to be sure how many.
I have turned her out with a muzzle on, I'm assuming I need to watch for colic and/or lami? I can see the paddock from the house so she will be well monitored. How long do I need to panic for?

Thank you. Hopefully she has a labrador type constitution and will be OK. She must have been out all night, theres piles of poo all around the farmyard, up the drive and around the self catering cottages...

If she's pooing okay Clodagh, she should be fine, but keep a close eye on her for another 24 hours just to be on the safe side. Make sure she has plenty of water available!

Mac has done this twice! First time, he really binged. (2nd time only managed to steal a few breakfasts). Just keep an eye on her. I turned Mac out all day so he could move about and didn't feed him any short feed for 24 hours. Make sure she is pooing as others have said and she should be fine.

Shes drinking for England, I reckon she must have eaten about half a bag - hopefully not in one sitting if she was out all night. The German family staying in the accommodation said they saw her outside their window at midnight - WTH didn't they come and tell me??
She seems OK, was just lying down but it might have just been a lie down...shes sick of the sight of me!
Thanks all, will keep you informed
