well did my 3rd hunter trial with H only a tiny 2'6-2'9 class with what i thought was an ok course, one scarey with beer barels on top which i was expecting a spook at since hasn't seen anything like that before, but after last time with our water fiasco thought it may be better. i took him schooling at local water jump and once in he was excellent jumping in and out no probs, however at the HT there was a log with half a stride before the water and no way was he giong in in fact about 2 metres away he was backing off, eventually ahd to go down the slope and walked gingerly through. am sooooo fed up why can;t he just get in and get on with it. don;t know where to go next with it as it seems that once he knows its safe then its fine but we can;t do that at an event he needs to get straight in. HELP!
also then became a nappy bu**er and ran out at a pathetic 2' log that he could have stepped over am sooo cross.
