Our house is very damp and the dog beds have patches of wet every morning. I need to raise them off the floor.
Has anyone used these? How cheap and rubbishy are they? I intend to put a mattress on top, they do appreciate their comfort.
I’ve seen better, well more expensive ones but any thoughts?
I don’t normally use Amazon so am conflicted!

I haven't used that make but bought a couple from Amazon - Coolaroo is the make, and I also bought a HiK9 and tbh, both are equally well made and long lasting. I put vet bed on top and the HiK9 one has a fleecy cover I bought with it.

We haven't used them, but I'd be concerned about them moving about. What about cut down rubber stable mats under their beds?
I have plastic sheeting under them now but just get wet under their, so I still have to lift and dry the floor every morning. I see your point though. I did think maybe something like grass mats?

I know loads of people who use them, they are much beloved of professional dog trainers, as they are a very distinct way to train 'place' to multiple dogs for quiet time/to rest and be quiet while other dogs are worked around them. One of mine has a massive metal raised bed with cow matting but it was thrown in as a deal with the kennels.

I have Hk9 they are well made and you can use a variety of different covers which slot on over the legs, some of them are a little padded. You could probably make your own or tie something on if you didn’t want to buy a ready made one.

My house is cold and draughty so I use one for Joe, with his old memory foam mattress on top! It's wedged into a corner though so doesn't move about. He's 40kg and likes to stretch out, and it works just fine.

I think mine is the Petplan 'Barkshire' one (about £34) which is under the stairs with a mattress AND a duvet AND a fleece on top (sighthounds...) to lift him up out of the draughts. And then I've got a cheaper one from amazon which he uses when it's hot in the Summer/wants to be out in the garden.

We had the Kuranda make, expensive, very worth it when we had Jake the destroyer of all beds. Keeps them off the floor, out of draughts and dry. You need to look at the underlying reasons the floor is damp-do you have a spring under the house?
No, just lots of wet everywhere, road and next doors yard run off, and no damp course. We have put gutters and drains on the house to try to get some of it away. The floor will be too expensive to fix, but come the spring the builders are tackling the walls ?

I've got a HiK9 in each kennel with a Tuffie on top (yes, they're spoilt). Solved the damp patches and the dogs love them. Never had an issue with using the tuffies or vet bed on top

Eta: Mine have rubber feet so no issue with floors noise or slippage wise
