dandruff ? getting rid

Fell pony is unrugged and hopefully will be all year so I groom everyday but only a quick flick so he doesn't loose the natural oils and stays waterproof. He has got dandruff everywhere I just can not get rid, he is not itching at all it just needs to go. Can't bath him so is there anything I can do to get rid ? I was thinking flax/linseed oil in his feed maybe ? Any suggestions will be great

I have started feeding my mare brewers yeast and linseed as she gets itchy/flakey skin. You would not believe the difference, even her white hairs are shining. She's usually a bit scurfy but has improved so much. Definitely worth a try.

Micronised linseed and soya oil for sure should help

Yes my mare came to me with quite dry scurfy skin, she has linseed meal and her skin and coat are in great condition now!
