Dangers of the Masters

I have had the golf Masters inflicton on me over the past 3 days and have to ask.

Is this game safe and humane?

Have you watched them T-Off or play a shot from the rough? The spectators form a sort of narrow Channel to watch the players close up and quite frankly if they hit a duff shot someone would be killed!

And I am sure I saw a green tarpaulin casually thrown over an American in garish "rupert bear" shorts on the 7th after Tiger went out of bounds....
 
Thankfully this torture will be over tonight - just seen in the H&H that Sky are showing a whole load of Events this year. About time too!
 
I am sitting here on my laptop whilst my OH watches what I can only describe as the strangest game on earth (golf - The Masters). I have just asked is there any chance that we can watch something else and his reply was "Of course we can, I'm recording this anyway". Why oh why would you watch something so boring and and then watch it again because you've recorded it?!?!? And why didn't he tell me earlier that he was recording this pile of *****e so that I could at least put something else on? AARRGGHH!!
 
Watching real golf is nothing compared to watching my dad and hubby playing the ps3 game... :(

Thank god I,ve got this forum and horse hero to keep me sane.

I am in exactly the same situation as you. Laptop on knee with the Masters on tv. Hubby is snoring at the moment.I am about to wake him up to tell him I am going to bed with my book
