darkening leather?

Bought a breastplate off ebay which is nut brown, not havana. Does anybody have any good tricks for darkening leather without ruining it or anything?

leather polish? may come off on your horse though?

what about tach oil, but you can get dark ones to dye the leather, i think...

Ko Cho Line should darken it up, I had a similar problem to you with my stirrup leathers, and it's really helped! It's that red stuff in a tin

Oil it well, leave it overnight until oil has soaked in & repeat until the oil stays on the top of the leather. After you've done this it will have really darkened down, probably to the colour you're looking for.
