Darn horse!

Have been looking forward to taking my horse to a local indoor school tonight to do clear round jumping all week, and been loading her in trailer and had no problems. Tonight, though, she decides she really doesn't want to go in and would really rather just stay at home thanks very much. And just to ensure she makes sure she doesn't have to go anywhere or do anything, she managed to pull one of her shoes off. Just to rub a little bit of salt in the wound, she then walked straight into the trailer, completely calm and chilled!! I swear that horse has an evil sense of humour sometimes. Still, all ended well in the end and she is completely fine.

Sorry, pointless post, just had to have a bit of a rant!

aww, i really feel for u my horse is the same, its so frustrating,,, best advice dont plan things, decide on the day and suddenly go.. then they dont expect a thing!

Oohh not surprised! I would be doing more then ranting, lol!

They do like to keep us on our toes!

Bless 'em, certainly do keep me on my toes! Little monkey. Still, they'd be a bit boring if they didn't show a bit of 'character' every now and again

Like the idea of just deciding on the day, will def be giving that a go!
