A little update on my daughter and her little pony.
Well we had her first camp this week. As usuall Hokus was a little angel!!
For competition day they were doing Top Score, a mini eventers challenge and a handy pony. So they did alot of Xc as preparation. The pair of them seem to have a real thing for XC jumping some pretty big fences for a 11.2 pony and a7 year old!!! She also got the gist of going against the clock and was flying round the showjumping courses, and well the handy pony was a walk in the park.

Anyway heres some pics. (and i took these so i have the copyright!!)

He really is a sweetheart pony, that top pic is jumping out the arean in the eventers challenge didnt even flinch at the fact it was out the arena complety away from his friends bless him.

Yer she had a great time, very grotty and tired after camping out but she had a great time and the extra hours in the saddle did her the world of good!!!:)

They are indeed lovely photos. I can't believe that they let kids that young go to PC camp. Ours have to be 12 - occasionally they drop the limit to 10 if the list is not full. All the other younger kids go to a 3 day rally at our pc field - all day there, for three days, but not sleeping there.

This was mini camp, 3 days but they camp for 2 nights i had to take pony home and bring him back morning time. 7 and over can camp alone 6 and under can stay if parent stays. My daughter was in the little persons tent so one of the mums was in the second room with them, much braver woman than me joining 5 children in a tent!!!!;)

Looks like they had a gab time. I have just got back from my first pc camp although I am considerably older than you daughter. They are both little superstars I can't believe how much they get up to with such a young jockey, she is a credit to you.
