On Saturday my 15 yr old daughter took her pony for their first time hunting. They joined the Albrighton Hunt in Shropshire.
I dont know if anyone from that hunt comes on here but I would like to say thank you. She had a fantastic day out, pony and daughter behaved themselves (I hope) and she cannot wait to go again.
Some pics for you to see.
Daughter is the one with the cheesy grin.

The meet starting off, she is the one at the top of the field in the front (hunt staff in front of her but out of shot).

Thanks all for the lovely comments.

She spent AGES on the Friday in between her PC rally cleaning and polishing as she didn't want to be the one that let the side down. Her PC is the Albrighton Hunt PC and the Hunt gave them a free trial to see if they liked it which was fantastic of them. Quite a lot of the PC children went and there are a few that will definately be going back.

Thanks all for the lovely comments I will show them to her, I am sure it will make her day.

Chestnut cob - They appeared a really friendly bunch of people, strangers stopped and chatted to me and we were made feel very welcome.

Lovely photos! Looks like a brilliant turnout and a fab day! I had to wait until I was 41 to go to my first hunt (:D3 weeks ago!!) so she's very lucky to have the right pony and supportive mum!

I have to admit I was equally surprised by the friendliness and throughly enjoyed my day, my horse did too!! He's still raring to go and I can't wait til I get to go again..soon I hope!!:D
