Im going can'not wait (unless i get ballotted of course!)... i just want to get out eventing again. Im having withdrawel symptons at the moment.... just really hoping monmouth runs...
Im going (I hope) to do the Novice, BE said it was a straightforward galloping course, which fingers crossed it is because it will be Zeb's 3rd Novice and Iw ant him to have a nice run!
Have entered N, but also entered BCA on the basis that the way things are going, the likelihood of both running is slim
If they do, pony may get 2 runs in 4 days - that should wake him up, after all these long gaps due to cancellations
He's supposed to be doing 1* soon so should be fit enough and both are pretty flat (if Dauntsey is at the same venue it used to be years ago which I can just aobut remember
I suspect it will be big and bold and not for the fainthearted since it is being run by the people who did Charlton Park and that certainly wasn't small! Plus they have Beanie Sturgiss on board too (is it her land it's being run on?).
I am planning to enter the Novice as my horse loved Charlton Park and that kind of big bold large jumping course suits us well. Very glad there will be something in hopefully a similar vein to CP to replace it as that was one of the best events I went to last year.
Dauntsey BE is in my village so I'm going to go and have a snoop round soon as there are foot paths all across where the xc course will be. So far from when I been out hacking I 've seen tables in a hedge and a biggish step jump. will report when i've had a walk round.

Me, i'm praying it stops raining and i bet you they will ballot as so much has been cancelled. Fingers crossed, cos i'm fence judging i'm hoping i will not get balloted
The river crossing used to be a paddle across a stream from memory. Its quite flat there and old ground, so if it stops raining i would guess the ground would be quite nice.
I would agree with the big and bold, it used to have an advanced track which i walked aged 15 and was nearly ill at the sight of it!!
