David Johnson RIP

The great thing about DJ was that he was happy to see his horses do other jobs - and locally we enjoyed seeing a great pointer Rockwithcaveman and Vertige dor do really well in the amateur ranks. I will never forget seeing his helicopter turn up at Hen's open day a few years ago......I was in the stable with the horses being more than interested in at the time......that is polite speak for being more than a bit excited! But he was a good owner, loved the sport and did very well by the Pipe yard - RIP.....

Very sad news. Thoughts are with those close to him. I wonder what will happen to his horses now...

That is very sad, he seemed such a nice man and he was such a reliable and staunch supporter of Timmy Murphy.
