Right, I've just totally crashed my little netbook trying to convert a PDF of the actual document so you'll have to make do with my convoluted descriptions.

Her dad is listed as Kwiguk's Bugner and her mum as Laska Lea Iles - googling suggests that both of these are full huskies. Googling the rest of the pedigree gives a paternal great-great-grandfather and a maternal great-great-grandmother as malamutes, but otherwise the rest seem to be all husky. Ch Forstals Seegoo appears twice on the paternal side, if that means anything to anyone?

Totally puzzled as I clearly don't have a typical fuzzbag husky on my hands here.

Right both Sire and Dam belong to the Jolubobes Kennel, I shall see if I can find out who that affix belongs to and see if I can get contact details on them
Forstals is one of the longest standing siberian kennels in the UK
 
I only made her wear it for 12 hours because after that she crashed into me from behind as I was getting out of the shower - those things have really sharp edges.

I'm just as confused as you - the bloke we got her from told us she was a crossbreed and even went as far as to specify how much of each she was, but her pedigree says otherwise. I'm not sure why he'd lie (or maybe he just hadn't bothered to look it up like we did?).

She's only a baby so somebody must remember her, now I've got the name of the kennel her parents were from I can try and contact the breeder and get a definitive answer.

How strange, hopefully you will be able to find out more. The pedigree should have her date of birth on it so that would confirm if it is definitely hers or not.

Surely if both parents are huskies there should be any mals in the pedigree, or does that happen sometimes Cyrus?
 
No, no malamutes should show up on her pedigree especially when both parents are pure siberian
My only thinking is that the pedigree could be made up but I would have thought that if that was the case I would have thought he would have made sure all the names where sibes

BC can you PM me the names you have found to be malamute and i`ll try and look further into it

Hmm, I wondered about made up pedigrees too. Have experienced it when one of our dogs appeared in a pedigree when we knew damn well he hadn't mated the bitch in question.

Certainly can't see any sign of GSD in her so will be interested to see what you find.

ETA: The forum just totally crapped out on me, sorry if there are five bazillion of the same post.
 
Have found someone with a dog who has the same pedigree on his dams side as Dax as his dogs Grand dam would be Dax`s full sister (obviously from another litter) if this ped was to be correct
Dax`s dam would be 8 at the youngest if that was her pedigree which doesnt mean she isnt Dax`s mum but would explain why Dax wouldnt be KC registered

I would contact the KC and see if they would give you contact details of the kennel the parents are from and I`ll carry on trying to get further info for you

None of those names on there I recognise as malamutes so all most likely are sibes

The original has the KC reg numbers of both her parents on it so it shouldn't prove too difficult, and your explanation makes sense as to why both of her parents seem to be registered but her ladyship is not.

I'll be eating my words this time next year when she suddenly chunks up and fuzzes out like a proper husky.
