Can anyone tell me what happened to their horse once de-nerved? How did you bring them back into work after the operation and how long did it take to bring the horse sound?
My horse has been de-nerved 6 weeks ago, due to navicular, but still lame and wondered if this is normal? He has been on box rest 5 weeks now in small paddock. Vet says to start walking for 20 mins a day and keep on bute for another week or two?
Would welcome other peoples experience...
